Our Mission
Amax Academy's promise to each child and their parents is the never-ending push to succeed in education. In these times where the stress on education is so important for the future, we promise that no child is pushed away from our school. We have built a community and a family in the heart of San Gabriel, and will continue to do so for many more years to come.
Our Story
Established in 2000, Amax Academy has been the center for education in San Gabriel, California for over 20 years. Amax has been providing after school tutoring services and summer school programs, and more recently, e-Learning classes. Our focus is to provide students with the most enriching learning experiences, building upon the foundations of public school education. In this highly competitive world, we give our students the head start needed to succeed.
Our Facility
Our facility includes 7 full-sized classrooms, separating individual grade levels, with separate teachers per classroom. Every classroom layout is designed to be similar to public school classrooms. There are also private spaces for parent/teacher meetings, as well as 1on1 tutoring support. To correspond with the 21st century, our facility also provides a lobby with over 16 computers and printing needs, as well as individual laptops and iPads for in-classroom use.
